Pressing the reset button

eclipse-fullmetal-alchemist-brotherhood-02-xvid-3d3d891100296319-35-09 I originally wanted this to just be an outlet for all my media related posts while my other blogs were reserved more for technology, humor, and personal posts. But over the time that I’ve been cultivating Time Travel is Awesome I have more and more been blocked and unable to work on the site simply because I didn’t know what to post. I never wanted to favor one topic over the other. If I felt the site starting to focus on a single topic I’d back off of posts that I wanted to write in favor of others. Over time, this just created a huge block on what I wanted to write. I have a new vision on the type of work I want to do online. Originally the goal was to be a filter on the noise that the web generated. I wanted to pluck out the best bits of news or original content and present them with a little bit of commentary. But more and more I want to do original work, post non-news related content, and make some observations about things that I was interested in at the moment and not just when it was relevant news. The types of things I have really want to post about and the types of content other bloggers are doing have shifted the goal of this site.

This means that the shift of the site will be going to anime only. Some video game content will remain but only if it has some tie to Japan or an anime property. Instead of being a news aggregator with editorial, although I’m sure once in a while I will do some, I will favor commentary on Anime (the content not the “industry”) reviews, and interesting anime related videos or images. That’s it.

I hope that if you have been a regular reader (which I doubt since I haven’t been much of a regular poster) that you’ll stick around and enjoy the content that I will bring you from now on. I look forward to this new format and to finally creating the content that I am truly passionate about.
