Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2

The Dynasty Warrior series was always a favorite of mine. I can’t really explain why. The Game Play wasn’t too compelling and the five versions released on the Playstation 2 were basically the same game with slight variations. But there was something satisfying at playing the role of one of the great Generals from Romance of the Three Kingdoms and killing thousands of rampaging Chinese.

in fact, at the height of my Gundam fandom I imaged what it would have been like if Dynasty Warriors had a Gundam skin. Last year I did get my wish but for the lackluster Playstation 3. Perhaps this second version will push me over the edge and make me buy Playstation 2’s unworthy son, perhaps not. But you can’t say the game doesn’t look fun, can you?

    I am quite surprised that they are making a sequel to the first Dynasty Warriors Gundam. As I can remember, it didn't do fantastic at release, although, I don't think it failed either. I remember playing the demo for the first one. It was fun, but EXACTLY like all other Dynasty Warriors games. But that is what the game is supposed to be huh? It seems obvious that they created both Gundam 1 and 2 to please fans of the anime. I just hope they add some more content and features, instead of just new areas and the like.
